The ACT's is an alternative standardized test to the SAT's.  It has four sections of: Reading, Mathematics, Science and Writing.  This test is commonly accepted at many Universities but it isn't always. The ACT's is another option for a test, some people take both, the scores are often comparable between the SAT's and ACT's.  South Windsor Public Schools works very hard to prepare us for the SAT's so it is encouraged to take the test we are most prepared for. But it is nice to know there is another option.
